Getting ready...

This little buck toothed fellow is one of the new designs I did for this weekend's French Nest Market.

Hopefully the market will still happen.  Although, I'm afraid that my lovely town is trapped under a blanket of smoke due to the High Park Fire, which is keeping lots of folks indoors and, sadly, has caused the loss of many homes.  Maybe the rain dance I've been doing will pay off.  I hope so.

While I wait for the rain I've been doing lots of printing, packaging, trimming and drawing to get ready for the market, all while watching this.

If you have some rain where you are, maybe you could send a little this way?  Pretty please and thank you.

  1. We had the same situation here in Austin last summer. Having friends lose homes is very sad. I hope you get some rain soon.

  2. Stay safe Brooke.
Do you use an A3 printer to produce your Etsy shop prints?

  4. Thanks Gals :) Things seem less smokey today.

June, My printer is an Epson Stylus Photo R1900. It occasionally has some feeder problems, but overall I really love it.

  5. I've been thinking of you there in the danger zone. I lived in Missoula when there were so many fires that it got dark with smoke and the streetlights came on at 4:00 in the afternoon. I hope it clears up soon. It's so sad about people loosing their homes. I hope the market still happens since you've been working so hard for it. I'll be thinking positive thoughts!!
