Books!

At the end of January one of my favorite used book stores closed down.  I'm sad to see them go.  But, I was glad to take advantage of the great sale they were having and I'm now the proud owner of several new books.  Small Pig by Arnold Lobel and Animal Stories by William Johnston are both full of wonderful illustrations.  I couldn't put down Holes by Louis Sachar and now I'm on to The Cricket in Times Square.  There is much inspiration to be found in these pages.  What's been inspiring you lately?

  1. the "Animal Stories" book looks so great! it's always sad when a book store closes. :( we live in a really tiny town in central illinois and have the smallest library- but i don't know what i'd do without it! they have lots of old children's books. every time i go in there i'm inspired by those classics.
